What we collect when you search

A flight search sends your route, dates, and passenger counts to our server so we can check every airline for you. Our server also sees your IP address — we use it only for rate limiting (stopping abuse), not to profile you.

Analytics

We use two analytics tools to see what's working, and we've listed exactly what they record:

• Google Analytics (GA4). Records product events: a search was submitted, results were shown, a route came back empty, a search failed, an airport you typed that we didn't recognise (capped at 50 characters), and clicks out to an airline's booking site (which airline, the fare shown, and where on the page you clicked). Events carry the route and dates from your search. Google sets its own cookies for this — we set none of our own.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cookieless page-view counts. It doesn't track you across sites.

When you click a fare

Booking happens on the airline's own website. When you click through, we pass your search (route, dates, passengers) to the airline's booking page so you don't retype it — for some carriers via an auto-submitted form. From that moment the airline's privacy policy applies, not ours.

On your device

We keep two small things in your browser's local storage: your last passenger counts (so the form remembers them) and whether you dismissed our analytics notice. FlyBro sets no cookies of its own.

What we never collect

• Names or contact details — unless you email us, in which case we just have your email.
• Payment details. You pay on the airline's site; card numbers never touch FlyBro.
• Booking records. We don't know whether you completed a booking.

Your rights

Under Nigeria's Data Protection Act (NDPA 2023) you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Visiting from abroad? We honour the same rights GDPR-style. In practice there's very little to hold — email us and we'll sort it.

A note on honesty

This page was written by the person who built FlyBro, not a law firm. It's accurate; it's just not legalese. If anything here changes materially, the date at the top changes with it and the analytics notice reappears.
